Where it started
A pastor's kid with a saxophone
Jamaican-American, raised in Virginia.
My mother directed the church choir. That is where I learned to hear a room.
Then the saxophone, and it never left my hands.
Trap, house and jazz in one word. I named it, then built ten years of records on it.
The first Grammy I ever saw in real life was on the fireplace at the late Quincy Jones' house.
Ten years on one idea
From The Pink Polo EP to Fix Your Face
On my records
Tour, merch and new music
Hear it here first
Tour dates, merch and new music land on my Laylo before they land anywhere else.
