Camels never forget
Where we came from
Liverpool, a record shop, a dozen names and one club. Scroll it in order.
Liverpool. Where we met
3 Beat Records
A record shop in Liverpool. Dave was running his own night, Jubilee, from 2004, and the two of us ended up residents at Society together.
2006. Every name but this one
- The Chosen Few
- Pawn Shop
- Whelan & Di Scala
- Wheels & Disco
- Mancini
- Shake n' Jack
- CamelPhat
Remixes, bootlegs and singles under all of them. Pawn Shop's Shot Away even scraped the UK chart at number 100.
2010. The first CamelPhat records
On our own label, Vice
We wore wrestling masks back then. We just wanted people to judge the music and not us.
2011. We bought the club
Mansion, Liverpool
Two Society residents became the owners of a Liverpool nightclub of their own.
2015. Constellations
Spinnin' Deep
It went into the Ultratop chart in Belgium, one of the first CamelPhat records to chart anywhere.

2017. Cola
With Elderbrook, on Defected
Number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, top twenty in the UK, and a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording.

Grammy nominated 2018. Panic Room
With Au/Ra
Another UK top forty, and the same year Breathe with Cristoph and Jem Cooke landed on Pryda Presents.

2020. Dark Matter
Our first album
Out in October 2020, with every club in the country shut. It still went to number 23 on the UK albums chart.

UK No. 23
