The Bass Church golden ticket: admit one, where bass drops and spirits rise
Where is it?

We gather at Havan Estate, 17301 Flint Rock Road, Austin, TX, a hilltop estate with a hall, a fire circle, a pool, a sauna and a hot tub.

Is there parking?

Havan Estate sits at the very end of Flint Rock Road.

Important: Please do not park outside the main gate or block any roads, driveways or emergency access. If on-site parking is full, follow the event team's overflow parking instructions.

Please arrive early (around 3:30) to allow time for parking, check-in and settling into the space.

If parking is full by Havan, you will need to park on the street in the neighborhoods below and walk up or Uber up from there.

Give yourself plenty of time to arrive into the Havan space by 4pm.

What should I bring?

Bring a water bottle and clothes you can dance and sweat in, plus any adornments that make you feel like your fullest self. If you want the pool, sauna or hot tub, pack a bathing suit, a towel and a change of clothes. If you like, bring a small item for the altar or intention space. Most of all, bring an open mind and a willingness to move.

When should I arrive?

Aim for 3:30. That gives you time to Uber up or walk up from parking below and land before we begin.

How long does it go?

We begin at 4pm and keep the floor open until around 10pm.

Can I volunteer?

We welcome your contribution and have options for volunteer roles. We're looking for support with check-in, load in and load out, sacred space keepers, promoters (Bass Ambassadors) and social media support. Reach out to iamavatara@gmail.com to get involved.

Are kids welcome?

Kids are welcome at Bass Church, and kids under 12 are free. Please note this is a space for adults to bring their expressive, sexy and confident energy to the dance floor. Kids of any age must be supervised at all times. During the moments where we turn inwards and welcome silence, we ask parents to help their kiddos settle their voices to respect the contemplative and meditative space.

Is Bass Church affiliated with any religion?

Bass Church was created as a non-denominational experience for people to come as they are, with your own unique flavor of beliefs, ways of praying and playing, and your own relationship to God, Goddess, Source, the Divine, the Universe, Science, Spirituality. It's all perfect.

Do I need to be a dancer or have dance experience?

Not at all. We care about authentic expression. Move however your body wants to; there is no right or wrong way to dance here.
